"Lindon, let go of me!" Dahlia exclaimed as Lindon dragged her outside the restaurant.
The man seemed oblivious, pulling her all the way to the parking lot. Dahlia winced when Lindon abruptly released her, leaving her body shaking. She felt pain shoot through her wrist.
"Goddammit!" Lindon hissed angrily, his voice echoing in the empty parking lot.
Dahlia felt anxious, unsure how to handle Lindon's behavior. She still wasn't used to this side of him, and she doubted she ever would be.
She looked at Lindon as he turned to her. After a string of curses, he suddenly faced her and grabbed both her arms, making her gasp.
"Lindon--!"
"Do you know what you just did? You rejected me in front of my family, Dahlia! How could you do that to me? Especially with Carter watching!" he shouted furio
