Carter wanted to take Dahlia to her condo, but then she received a call from Lindon asking her to wait for him outside the building. When Lindon arrived, the anger in his eyes was immediately apparent as he saw Carter.
"What are you doing? Aren't you going to stop?" Lindon blurted out, approaching Dahlia quickly. She grabbed his arm.
"Let's just go, Lindon. I'm tired," she said firmly, pulling him away from Carter.
The two men stared at each other for a long moment before Carter shook his head and walked away. Lindon then turned to Dahlia, irritation still evident on his face.
"What's really going on between you two? Why is it that every time I see you, you're always with that man?" he demanded angrily.
