Dahlia stared at his number on the screen as the call ended. As soon as she got off work, she had texted him that she was on her way to visit Colton at their house. But then he called, and that’s what he said. Before they parted at the café, he had taken her number. She had given it to him immediately, thinking it would be easier for Colton that way.
