Chapter 7 Kyle’s living room was again crowded with lawmen and medical folk. There wasn’t enough room in the cellar for everybody. Larry and Joanie had gone down in the basement to find a patch of freshly disturbed earth under a tarp. Twenty years’ worth of Mason jars watched on as Larry and Joan dug carefully with their blue gloved hands, until Larry felt something hard and smooth beneath his fingers. A skull.
