“Likewise,” El’Iaris replied. “What have you come for?”
Luc smiled charmingly, but his eyes glimmered in suspicion. “I looked everywhere for you. Who knew you would be in the human realm, and with this particular mortal, at that?”
El’Iaris narrowed her eyes. “Why have you come here?”
Luc frowned slightly at her coldness. The wariness in his stance grew, but when he spoke, he spoke fluidly. “I could ask the same of you.” He pointed at Cyrus. “That boy has something I need.”
El’Iaris sighed. She could relate to that.
Luc didn’t wait for her to keep asking questions. Levelling his gaze onto the bewildered Cyrus and fixing him onto the spot, he arrogantly demanded: “Are you Lucas’ brother?”
