With every movement of his lips on hers her heart is shattering in a million pieces. Because even though it has taken long to admit it, she has fallen in love with this man that has turned her life upside down. Up until him she had managed to keep her heart safe from heartache but somehow he managed to break down her walls that she had built for so long. Terrible anguish strikes her heart, she feels a dreadful ache as if something is being torn inside her and she is dying. She feels like she can't breath. Her lips tremble as tears start falling freely.
When he finally pulls back she raises her hand and strikes him hard across the face. For a moment she thinks that will give her some release but a look at him just reminds her of her love for him and his betrayal.
