Two days later, Vanessa spent the first half of her Sunday lazing around before turning her attention to her wardrobe and what she could possibly wear on what she had dubbed ‘date night’. Nick had invited her to join him for dinner at Ocean Prime rooftop restaurant. He had made the reservations himself and had simply told her they should go out on a date and get to know each other. Since the auction, Nick had worked such late hours they had not been able to spend any quality time together outside the work environment.
When he had told her the name of the restaurant he had picked, she was impressed. Granted, it took very little to impress her in his world, since she was not accustomed to his grand style of living. But she was actually looking forward to eating at this particular restaurant
