Katherine was still feeling unsettled when she went to lunch. Kristen invited her up to the tasting room and suggested getting something to eat, which Katherine happily agreed to.
She was getting too attached to everyone. That was the only reason she wanted to tell Dillon who she really was. In only one more day, she’d be gone, and she’d never see any of them again.
Katherine looked across the vineyard as she walked to The Drunken Grape. She didn’t see Dillon, but she looked for him. As big as the whole place was, she wasn’t surprised she missed him. Hopefully he got a few breaks in the day, too.
