Chapter 13

Edward's pov

"Who the hell is Elizebeth?"

Why? Why was he asking me this, where did he hear that name and how does he know that she is connected to me. My mind was racing, puzzled with all these questions ; so much so that I stood the still as a statue staring at Jason with shock written all over my face. 

"Edward Smith ANSWER ME!"

Jason was getting more frustrated with every second. His hands started to ball into fists as he slammed his hands down on the table shouting,"ANSWER ME!"

A furious growl built up in my stomach at the scene of Jason challenging my authority, "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Shouting at your alpha like that Jason!"

Shook, Jason just stood there speechless. Realising what he had done he quickly bowed in submission and backed away.

"NOW, why do you want to know who she is? I thought we had a rogue attack so why the hell is Elizebeth's name coming up. ANSWER ME BETA!"

Submissive, Jason quickly answered the questions explaining the whole story to Edward.

"In the north sector of the teritorry the guards smelled some rogues and informed us immediately. At first they could only sense a few so we thought it was only a minor inconvenience, but when we got there all our men were knocked out cold with one in-particular rogue standing over them all. We could sense an immense power coming from him, when we tried to approach he growled snarling "If you come any closer I will kill all of these men that I have so kindly spared". Not wanting to risk the life of our men we stayed put asking what he wanted from us, his exact words were "I'll make this quick, all I want is a she-wolf who has run away from me and I need back. Her name is Elizabeth Crow. Don't worry about finding her just ask you're alpha he already knows where she is. You have 48 hours to come back here and give her to me and if you don't, I won't be so kind next time. I will be waiting" and with that he left. 

I leant on my desk taking everything in, this mate of mine just gets curiouser and curiouser.

"Whats his name?"

"I don't know he never said, look why don't we just fine this Elizabeth girl and giver her too....."

"NO! WE CAN'T"

"Why not who exactly is she too you Ed?"

"She is....."

But before I could finish it suddenly hit me that he knows. He must know who she is to me, meaning he has been watching us. This also means that there is nothing stopping him from trying to take her himself before the 48 hours is up.

With this on my mind I ran straight to the uni hoping that I would reach there first.I could her Jason call after me as I dashed out of the pack house but I had no time to explain all I could do was run. Run as fast as I can to her and pray that I wasn't too late. 

My feet pounded against the ground as I ripped off my clothes and let Lucas take over, my body trembled at the thought of not getting there in time and my feet pushed me forwards even faster at the mere thought of the man that wants her. Why does he want her, what is she to him? so many unanswered questions that need to be completed.

As I arrived the sweet intoxicating scent of her filled my nose and knew where she was instantly. Sprinting through the woods I finally found her walking along the woodland path enjoying the view that surrounded her. I tried to hide my presence no to scare her and sighed in relief that she was ok. 

I watched her for a bit as she dove further and further into the woods listening to her music and eating her apple. Oh how I wish I was that apple right now pressed against her delicious lips, I couldn't help it every time I saw her all I wanted to do was wrap her in my arms and make her mine and Lucas defiantly agreed he could barley control himself.

Without realising it I had lost focus and when I snapped back I saw Elizebeth looking terrified as a dark figure approached her, adrenaline rushing through me at the scene that was unfolding in-front of me I pounced to Elizebeth, grabbed her waist and chucked her over my shoulder making a run for it. I felt the tingles run all around my body and it felt so good, but I couldn't get distracted now I had to protect her.

What Jason said was true I could sense the immense power coming from that man as he could. Not wanting to fight him and put Elizebeth in dangers way I ran straight back to the pack house where I knew she would be safe. In the back of my mind I knew this is what that man wanted but I had no choice, where else would my precious mate be more protected than by my side.
