Edward's pov
After getting home that day I took a long shower and flopped on my bed with my mind still intoxicated with Elizabeth. What an amazing name it just rolled of my tongue and suited my name so well, Edward and Elizabeth.
"Edward and Elizabeth sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g"
"Shut up Lucas" I growled
"I'm just saying what your thinking stupid"
"I said shut up!"
"Okay, whatever"
This wolf of mine is driving me crazy weeks even months he refused to talk to me to even say a single word and now he won't stop! All he does is tease me and go all like a love sick puppy when ever Elizabeth is around, and to be honest I can't blame him she is gorgeous, but that isn't the point. He can't just block me out for weeks then decide to be best buds again when ever he wants, I think it might just be time to teach this mutt lesson.
A few hours later
Every wolf has a weakness, one fear that they just can't seem to get over and for my wolf, Lucas, that fear just so happens to be spiders. You see whenever I see one one I am fine and I pick it up putting it back outside to where it belongs.
Lucas on the other hand has a, lets say different reaction. So my lessons to teach Lucas to be a good little pup may or may not involve spiders, and a huge quantity of them.
"Lucas."
"Lucas!"
"LUCAS!"
"What do you want you crazy person?
"*Uhum* Well I well just wondering if you wanted to go on a run you know, to let off some steam?"
"What are you up to?"
"What do you mean what am I up to?"
"You know bloody well what I mean when was the last time you were ever polite to me *hhmmm*?"
"Fine, do you want to go on a run or not. I was just being nice to you, after finding our mate I thought you might appreciate it but no your being moody as ever I see" Slowly I start to block him out when.
"Okay okay I'm sorry I would like to go for a run thanks."
"Okay lets go!"
Yes stage one of my plan complete to show this little pup a lesson next time he thinks about being a d**k he will think twice after what I have in store for him.
We had been running for a while now and my guards had just mind-linked me to tell me they had set up the trap, I had also blocked Lucas off so he couldn't hear my thoughts. Perfect all I need now is for Lucas to take the bait.
Suddenly Lucas stopped sniffing the air. Yes that's right smell the bait smell the bait! Dashing to the left he raced to the source. Only a few more steps keep going you are all most there.After a few more quick corners he slowed his pace to a jog, Lucas could see the source, a prime bit of meat hanging from a giant old oak tree, he was so ravished from his run that he didn't even think how suspicious it looked just hanging there. He slowly crept towards the prime meat itching ever closer to the trap, one step , two steps, three and *BOOM*.
Lucas found himself at the bottom of hole that I had ordered my men to dig earlier it was just big enough so he could see the top but couldn't escape.
"Edward! I knew something was fishy what the hell is this?"
"Oh its nothing just a little something I got built to teach you a lesson"
"Well if you think sticking me in a hole will teach me lesson you are dumber than I ..."
But before he could finish buckets of buckets of giant spiders were thrown in the hole making Lucas howl like a she-wolf while he screamed, as though he was drowning in them.
"Okay okay that's enough" Lucas screeched like a girl.
I couldn't help it I was pissing myself with laughter. I refused to let him turn back which made this all so more pleasurable to watch, he squirmed and backed to a corner to get away from the little critters that are 10x smaller than him; I don't think I have ever seen such a big wolf coward over such a little thing, it was hilarious!
After about half an hour of watching him squeal and squirm he finally screeched, "Fine, I am sorry Ed I didn't mean to hurt you by ignoring you I was just upset thinking we were never going to find her, find Elizabeth!"
"That is all I wanted to hear"
Slowly I let myself turn back, hearing Lucas thank mercy and relax in my head.
"I know, I'm sorry I just really hated you shutting me out Lucas. Then you came back like nothing happened, please don't do that again bud."
"Okay. As long as you promise to keep those mangy creatures away from me and never do anything this stupid again cause I swear to god if you do I will..."
I quickly cut him off before I heard all the gory details of what went on in his head while chuckling to myself, thinking how that was the best prank ever.
Cutting me out my thoughts Jason mind linked me, "Hey Ed we have a problem"
"What is it?"
All he said was "Rouges"
With that I was off sprinting to the pack house while the ground rumbled under my feet, luckily I had placed the trap near by so it only took me a few minutes to get home. My heart was pounding praying nothing bad had happened while I was messing around. Damn it! I should of been at home why was I messing around I am the future king what the hell was I thinking, I should not have let my guard down. Crap.
I burst through the doors panting, rushing to the meeting room where Jason stood waiting patiently for me to arrive.
I gave him one look and I knew it wasn't good. I opened my mouth to speak but before anything could leave my mouth Jason looked straight in my eyes and bluntly asked,
"Who the hell is Elizabeth?"
