I slowly closed the door and froze. So many guys.. staring at me. It was.. I felt uncomfortable. I felt like I would do something wrong if I would breathe or move an inch. They were literally looking at me from my head to my toes. Everyone greeted me saying "Hey!" or "Hi!". I smiled back and waved saying "Hey." trying to show off how nervous I actually way.. they were like hypnotized and I wasn't sure what to do... but thank god Elijah knew it.

"Come to daddy."

I walked trough everyone and as I reached him he told me to sit down on his lap. I did and he wrapped his arms around me. They kept staring at me. but to be honest I felt a little bit more comfortable with Elijah.. I didn't feel like they could eat me anymore even tho this could be a trap.. maybe he was going to sell me to them and wanted to show me off.. god why couldn't I just stop thinking? This all was just strange.. I wasn't used to this..

All my life my mom told me what I should do around others.. how I should act.. what I should do and everything else.. this time I had to do it on my own and listen to a guy who was way older than me and who I barely knew.

"I'm Josh! We already met soo.." he said smiling. I knew him so I nodded trying to smile back. "You can talk to them.. they are my friends." Elijah whispered into my ear and kissed my cheek which made me blush.. I liked every kind of contact with him.

"My name is Melissa.." I said very shy.. "I'm James!" another one introduced himself. And then there was the extra one..

"I'm Jason." he said and he was looking like he wanted to eat me. He was smirking and.. ugh I just felt so uncomfortable with his eyes on me.. I knew he was no good... being in a room with all of them.. made me feel a little weird. I got to know the names of the other ones too and then they began to ask me questions. I answered every single one easily and as I looked at Elijah he looked proud...

They were actually very cool.. except Jason. He was smirking at me all the time and asking me weird questions.

"Do you have a boyfriend? I mean we know that you aren't dating Elijah." Jason asked me and that was what I meant with weird questions. What did he think? That I would be here if I would have a boyfriend? I scratched my neck. "Uh...I had one..." he smirked again. "What happened to him?"

I looked at the ground and pressured my lips. I actually felt bad talking about it. Even thinking about it was awful.. I didn't want to remember him.. "He.. cheated on me.". the words just rolled down my tongue and that was very embarrassing. Admitting that I wasn't good enough for him in front of everyone...

I squeezed a streak of my hair behind my ear and felt Elijah's arms around me again. I looked at him and he looked very mad. I felt bad because he told me I shouldn't embarrass him in front of his gang and I really didn't want to..

"What a shame.. cheating on such a... beautiful girl.." I looked at Jason. Right into his eyes. He was weird. "It's nothing important. I'm over it."

He smiled and Josh's phone rang. We all looked at him. "Excuse me! It's important!"

He rushed out and no one said a word. Elijah leaned his chin on my shoulder. "And? What do you think about my babygirl?" Elijah asked and I chuckled. Him calling me babygirl in front of his friends was actually something special to me even tho he didn't mean it..

"Very kind and cute." James said smiling. He was actually the most kind of them all. "Thank you!" I smiled back. I got so many compliments. "I like her.." Jason said and Elijah held me tighter.

I couldn't understand him. I was here with him because he wanted me to come with him. But what did he want from me? He didn't want to love me.. he didn't want anything from me.. I didn't know him and he didn't know me.. why was he acting like we were a couple in front of them? Why was he holding me, kissing my cheek and introducing me to his closest friends? I just wanted to understand.. it's been only two days.. and there was something about him that I couldn't tell. But I was dying to find out..

"Shut up Jason you're talking too much." Elijah said and I wanted to kiss him for that in that moment. I smiled at him and suddenly Josh came in. He looked like he had a panic attack.

"Bro!" he was breathing really fast. I felt that Elijah wanted to stand up so I stood up to make it easier for him. "What happened?" he asked worried with furrowed eyebrows.

"The Maze bank stepped up their game! They have new security guards, new alarms, new codes, they moved the safe and all that stuff!" I raised a brow and my jaw dropped. The maze bank...

"Wait.. did you said 'new'?" James asked also standing up and I could feel Elijah's blood boiling. Something was going really really wrong and I hoped it wouldn't be too bad because it seemed to be really important and serious. "Dude that means that everything we planned is...is nothing! It's useless! Are you serious?"

Elijah walked towards Josh. "Bro we're trying to get in that f*****g bank for months now." Josh looked very disappointed like someone broke his heart.. "They're on the highest level of security right now.. we're fucked.." he added.

Elijah said nothing.

He was very silent with his hands on his hips.. his jaw was clenched and he seemed like he was very close to explode.. he was ready to lose it.. I didn't say anything. I tried my best to not bother him..

"That was our biggest project!" James was more disappointed. It seemed like he was taking it very personal.. like the've worked hard for it..

I had to say something. I had to do something..

"Wait. You're trying to get in? Like seriously robbing a bank?" I asked eyes widened. I already understood that but I needed to ask to be sure.. Elijah turned around but I didn't mind if he would be mad or tell me to stay out of this. "Yeah but look, that's complicated and you're completely going to stay out of this."

Why wasn't I surprised? I knew that he was doing illegal stuff. It was so obvious.. but I never thought he'd be planning on robbing a bank..

"Uh oh.. now she's going to freak out.." Jason said staring at me like I'd be a huge problem for them...

"And what's the problem?" I asked crossing my arms in front of my chest and shrugging like that would be something normal.. "They changed everything. The security team, the employees, the safe, the alarms.. everything. " Josh answered me and Elijah looked at him like he was going to cut his tongue off... "Okay... so you want to rob that bank... you planned everything but everything's useless now and you don't know how to get in?" I asked eyes wide open again like I couldn't believe them. Elijah looked at me again. "That's exactly what it is."

"Since when are you doing this..illegal stuff?« I asked him and he said "For years. since I know myself. Robbing a bank is the smallest thing we've done. But that's none of your business.". He was so cold.. even the way he looked at me.. like I wouldn't know how to handle any of this.. that pissed me off..

"Show me your plans." I said and everyone raised their eyebrows. "Come on I want to see them." I said seriously. Josh looked at Elijah. "Dude I think we can trust her. she doesn't seem stupid.." he mumbled.

Then Ethan walked over to his bookshelf and there was literally a secret room behind it. I was shocked. It was like in the movies.. I got goosebumps. We slowly walked in and it wasn't normal. A big round table, pictures and plans on the wall, a whiteboard, blue lights and a lots of paper on the table. I looked around. I looked at the plans on the whiteboard and table. Just like in the movies..

"These are good.. you would definitely get in with them." I said leaning in and taking a closer look. Elijah raised a brow at me. "What the f**k are you talking about?"

"These are VERY good... but this won't work anymore." I said shaking my head.

Elijah

She was checking the plans like it was something usual for her and that was weird.. She was talking about them like she knew them so well and that was confusing. I didn't think she could be like an adult.. so serious and strict..

"The new system is on a huge level. You need a bigger team!" she said really fast.

"Wait. What are you talking about?"

"Yeah I'm really shocked right now!" James added.

"You'll need some who'll stand on the back door in the underground car park and some who'll blend in with the police." she said and I furrowed my eyebrows. This must've been a joke or something..

"Elijah with my help you'll get in there in two minutes!" she said looking straight into my eyes totally hopeful. She seemed so real ad excited about it.. it confused me even more.

"With your help?" I looked at her eyes wide open and laughed. "How do you want to help us huh? With your hello kitty plans? Nah. Your pretty ass will stay here and forget about this all." I said totally seriously. She looked mad and came closer to me.

"Elijah. My mom is the CEO of the Maze bank." and our jaws dropped hard as fuck.. "WHAT?" James screamed what we all thought...

"I know everything about it and I could take a look at the system since she made me go with her to work very often."

I saw the little smile on his face which was getting bigger very slowly.. Suddenly he picked me up and spun me around. I screamed and he said "You're a blessing babygirl."

I laughed. "But you really want to steal your moms cash?" James asked a little worried and I had to think about that for a second.. was I really going to do that to her? I wished I could do worse... "I'll do more than that.. Leave that to me.."

I wrapped my arms around Elijah. "I'm proud of my babygirl." he kissed my forehead and I felt this warm feeling in my stomach even if it was only fora moment since I knew he was doing that because I was useful for his plans.. The boys gave each other high fives and Elijah let me go and walked me to the middle of everyone.
