Chapter Twenty-Four I don’t want to open my eyes. I can feel the smell around me that I’m not in a very pleasant place. It can feel the smell of blood and dirt. It’s damp in the room, and that has to mean I’m in some kind of basement or something. A very unpleasant place at least. Why do I have to sound so rational right now? I don’t get myself. I should open my eyes and try to figure out where I am. The last thing I remember is wanting to text Rich, then a blow to the head. That’s it, that’s all I can remember. “Oww”, I mumble and put my hand to my head. I didn’t even remember the pain until thinking about it.
