"I thought you had only ever drunk from me once, and that it had almost killed you." Damien had fed strictly on the donated blood. But he had told Vienna when she had first visited the kingdom, that he was enthralled by the smell of her blood. He had fed from her and become so sick that he could barely move. Damien did not say anything. Instead, he stared at the fire. She patted his hand. "Listen, a lot is going on. We do not have time to play guessing games. Just tell me what happened. You already said you would." Damien turned to her, his handsome profile outlined against the blaze of the flames. "I have drunk a lot more of your blood than you realize. A hell lot more." That caught her off guard. "Excuse me?" He frowned. "I am not proud of it." So, he had drunk from her many times.
