Anna’s POV
Ralph had already changed the timeline by the time I sat down.
“I moved the northern corridor delivery up two weeks,” he said, sliding the revised proposal across the table before the wine had even arrived. “Your team flagged the routing as the risk. I fixed the routing.”
I read it. “You didn’t move the depot handoff.”
“No.”
“That’s the actual bottleneck.”
“I know.” He didn’t reach for the page. “I need three more days on that one. I’ve got a contract with the carrier that doesn’t renegotiate cleanly before the fifteenth.”
“Then it’s not fixed. It’s postponed.”
“It’s fixed in two weeks and postponed for three days.” He held my eyes. “I’m not going to tell you it’s solved when it isn’t. You’d know.”
I looked at the number a moment longer than I needed to, then nodded onc
