Chapter 39

"Good morning!" I greeted the one beside me as soon as I woke up. She had her back turned to me, and she was all covered in a blanket.
I wrapped my arm around her, even though I knew she was still sleeping. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize that I fell asleep." I apologized and removed the blanket to kiss her, only to find out that I was talking to no one, and it was only a piled-up pillow! "s**t! Where are you, Serena?"
I freaked out and scrambled to get up to find that woman. I wondered if it was another day of headaches because of her, but then again, I went back to the room before my feet could take me downstairs. I looked for my phone instead because, like my laptop, it has CCTV footage that is connected to the whole mansion. I'll just watch her from afar.
