I pretended to be asleep in order to avoid talking to him again, but I was secretly looking at him through the window.
I am annoyed.
If only my plan to run away had been a success, I would have been far away from him now. I shouldn't have given him the ring.
I refuse to believe him wholeheartedly because I am still affected by what I witnessed. I hate how he treated it like nothing; it should be easy for me to accept his reasoning and promises. Does he have any idea how painful it was? And I'm not someone who forgives and forgets easily.
