I rushed after Serena but cursed when I found that the door was locked. I called her name a few times while knocking on the door, but she ignored me. I had no choice but to ask for the duplicate key from the maid.
When the door opened, I saw wet footprints on the floor leading to the bathroom. She must have taken a shower. I knocked on the door and called her, but there was no response. I tried to open it, but she locked it as well. I called her a few more times but banged on the door when she still did not answer.
