Chapter 16

"We're here, ma'am!" Nath stated as she parked the car.
She got out first, but I beat her into opening the door for me. I didn't want her to do such a simple thing for me when I was capable of doing it. She has a lot on her plate already.
"What do you think we're going to do up there, Miss?" I nervously asked her while we were walking to the elevator.
Nath only shook her head. "I have no idea as well, Miss. I guess you'll know once you're there."
I am not convinced because her smile says otherwise. The truth is, I have an idea, but I just want to talk to ease my mind. I am so nervous that I feel like I might faint any minute now.
"We're here," she announced when she opened the door for me.
