Zoe walked out of her chambers, and made her way towards the direction of Meredith's chambers. She was careful not to be seen as Meredith had gone through a maid to let her know that she needed her presence.
Walking through the huge corridor, she made a left turn and after carefully scrutinizing the area, she opened the door to the bedroom where Meredith was staying and let herself in.
Meredith was seated on her bed while her handmaiden unpacked her clothings from the trunk and placed it nicely on her bed.
The action intrigued Zoe. She had thought that Meredith was leaving today so why was she unpacking? Did something happen or did she perhaps change her mind.
