Meredith watched the maid pack up her things and placed it inside the trunk nicely. Her eyes were fixed on the maid but her mind was elsewhere.
She thought about what had transpired earlier in the dungeon between herself and the Lycan king. He raised his sword at her. If it wasn't for Alpha Raven's interference then she would've been dead meet by now.
