Chapter Fifteen
The show actually went surprisingly well. Although many people bemoaned the lack of June Bug’s cake slices, the sandwiches were a hit. And the young band members not only acted extremely professionally, they also continued to bring in a stream of young people as they had a friend post pictures of them playing on social media. Beatrice watched as Meadow and Posy introduced the quilts to a group of interested visitors. It was all turning out very well in the end.
After a while, Beatrice saw Elspeth come in with Sterling Wade. She spotted Beatrice, waved, and they came over.
