Chapter Ten Elspeth McDonald was there, holding a basket of homegrown tomatoes and looking abashed. She could see Beatrice and their food on the table from the door. “Oh goodness,” she said. “I should have called first. You’re eating your supper.” Wyatt, polite as always, stepped aside and said, “Come on in and join us, Elspeth. I picked up a ton of food.
