Chapter 9A few days after Christmas, Wesley walked down the street to the bank with the winter sun shining brightly on his head. He felt quite marvelous and at peace with the world. As he walked, admiring the attractive collection of houses and businesses lining the brick streets, his mind replayed the lovely week he'd spent with his new bride. Allison is absolutely everything I hoped she would be. Put simply, a proper wife. The morning after their wedding, she'd taken one look at the haphazard kitchen and taken everything out of the cabinets and drawers.
