Sasha’s eyes held amusement in them as she awaited Dylan’s answer.
“I don’t think you can.”
She laughed. “Figures.”
“I mean, I’ve heard some things—”
“Let’s just get something straight, Dylan. I don’t know whether or not to believe you. You have to admit, this is some stuff you’re telling me.”
“Imagine being me. Watching all my friends age while I stayed the same. It was pretty terrifying.”
“Look, even if this is true, it doesn’t make any sense.” Sasha purposefully inflected calmness and levelness. “Why didn’t you see a doctor? What about your pediatrician?”
