Rhys made his way to the clinic. He’d been able to shake off a lot of his tension by letting Ragnar run free for a bit, but he was nervous about what Dr. Kane had to say.
“Welcome Alpha.” She’d said upon his arrival. “Thank you for taking the time to see me. How was your ‘wellness run’?”
“Well, I feel better, so it did what it was supposed to”
“Very good. Please come in and have a seat.”
Rhys followed Dr Kane to her office. He was worried. The doctor didn’t know that Livia was human, and he didn’t know how long he could keep it away from her. Only his parents, Dylan and Marcus knew about her true nature, and that she was his mate. Everyone else was simply allowed to assume she was a wayward rogue or a runaway from another pack.
