“You’re sure they’re going to do it on the next new moon?” Xavier asked the scraggly young man, who had come straight from the kitchen, still dressed in a damp apron. “Yeah, I heard the chef speaking with him. They’re bringing in a caterer for the feast, inviting other pack leaders, and having mead brought up from the locked wine cellar.” Shit, Xavier thought, if they were bringing out the mead, they would be sealing allegiances. He was glad that Georgia was planning on making her move that night. It might be her last chance to secure the Luna position for herself. “Thank you, Scott.
