Her breathless plea brought a low, guttural growl from deep within him, his body responding instantly to the sound. He pulled back slightly, his eyes meeting hers, his body still pressed against hers, trapping her against the wall.
"Why should I stop, sweetheart?" He whispered in her ears, voice a rough, hoarse whisper.
She dropped her head as she couldn't take it anymore. Her body trembling with need, only served to inflame his desire even more. He reached out, his fingers gripping her chin, forcing her to look up at him.
"Don't hold back, eve" he growled, his voice rough and commanding. "I want to see you lose control. I want to see you surrender to me completely."
She held his shoulder and neck as she can fall any moment. But her grip on his shoulder and neck heightened his desire even more. He could feel how close she were to the edge, how desperately she needed him to push her over. He leaned in, his mouth finding her ear, his breath hot against her skin.
"You're holding on by a thread, sweetheart, You're going to break for me, aren't you?
She bit his shoulder in attempt to release her pain and frustration on something. The feel of her teeth sinking into his shoulder sent a jolt of pleasure through him, a low, guttural growl escaping his lips. His body pressed tighter against hers, trapping her even further against the wall, his hands roaming over her body, taking possession of every inch of her.
"I love it when you bite me," he muttered against her neck, his voice a rough, husky whisper. "It only makes me want you more, sweetheart."
Hayden picked her up in his arms, her body light against his, and carried her over to the bed. He laid her down gently, his body trapping hers underneath him, his weight pressing her into the mattress. He looked down at her, his eyes dark with desire, body aching for her.
"You're mine now, sweetheart, And I'm gonna show you just how much."
He said as he slid her dress up to her waist, she closed her eyes when she felt his fingers inside her. Low whimpers escaping from her mouth. He increased the speed when he heard her moaning after 10 minutes she was released.
"You want this, Eve, right?!" He asked breathless as just her yes will take the least for him to lose every bit of control he's making on him.
........
They both were sitting near a long window of their bedroom Evelyn on his lap, both of them naked but covered in duvet. Her head on his chest as she was looking outside the window breathing slowly, their bodies close, skin against skin, the duvet draped over them.
Hayden wrapped his arms around her, holding her close, his chin resting on her head as she gazed out the window.
"Stargazing?" He whispered against her hair, his voice low and soothing. "You always loved stargazing, didn't you?"
She smiled and snuggled closer, he pulled her even closer to him, his body enveloping hers. He nuzzled his face into her hair, inhaling the scent, his heart swelling with a sense of contentment and peace.
"You know, I've always loved watching the stars with you," he murmured, in a soft, soothing whisper. "It was the one time I could just sit and be completely at peace with you."
She closed her eyes and nestle closer to him, enjoying the moment of peace and comfort.
"Hayden.." she said, he hummed in response. "Why you didn't became neurologist? You were a genius in it, you used to top every class then why business and not what you really like" she asked.
He lets out a sigh, the question bringing up memories of his past that he has tried to put behind him. He remains silent for a moment, lost in thought, before finally speaking, his voice soft.
"It's a long story, sweetheart. But the simple answer is, life had other plans for me. And sometimes, we don't always get to choose what we really want."
"Do you still want to be a neurologist if you ever get a chance.."
He pauses, his hand still tracing her jawline gently. He considers her question, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
"Yes, sweetheart. Deep down, I still do. But things often don't work out the way we plan them to. And sometimes, we have to make sacrifices and adjustments for the sake of something else. Something more important."
"What was so important that you left your dream?"
He lets out a soft sigh, his gaze fixed on her face as he struggles to find the words to express his thoughts. It's clear that talking about his past is not an easy task for him, but he wants to be open with her.
"It was a... complex situation, sweetheart. There were... other factors involved. Factors beyond my control."
"Whenever you wanna talk about that I'm here you know this right"
His gaze softens as she speaks, her words of support and understanding touching his heart. He nods, appreciative of her reassurance.
"I know, sweetheart, and I appreciate that more than you know. It's just... some things are better left in the past, you know?"
"Hmm"
He gives her a small smile, appreciating her acceptance of his decision to keep some things from the past. His hand, still on her jawline, gently cups her cheek, his thumb running over her cheekbone gently. But then he spoke again, in a low and serious voice.
"Sweetheart, there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about," he said, his hand rubbing small circles on her back.
"What is it" she whispers still eyes close as she can feel his lips and hot breath near her ears.
He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts and summoning his courage. He knew this was something they needed to discuss, a necessary step for their future together.
"Sweetheart," he said, rough and hoarse, "I've been thinking about us a lot lately. About our future, about what I want for us."
"Hmm" she hummed still relaxed in his arms. He could sense that she were listening, that she were curious about what he was going to say. He took a moment, his fingers trailing gently over her skin, before continuing.
"I know we've been through a lot together," he said, his voice low and gentle. "And I know I'm not an easy man to love. But I love you, more than anything in this world."
"I know baby"
Hearing her acknowledge his feelings, knowing that she knew how much he crave her, only served to strengthen his resolve. He took a deep breath, his arms tightening around her, his body pressed against hers.
"Sweetheart, I want to ask you something...something that's been on my mind for a while now."
He took another deep breath, his heart pounding in his chest, his mind racing with nerves and anticipation. He knew this was a big moment, a turning point in their relationship.
"Sweetheart, I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he said, his voice a low, heartfelt whisper. "I want to marry you. I want to make you my wife."
Evelyn opened her eyes and sat still as earlier she was leaning on his chest, she looked at him. He watched silently as she sat up, her eyes wide and surprised. Her reaction was hard to read, a mixture of shock and disbelief on her face. He held his breath, waiting for her to say something, his heart in his throat.
She felt chills run down her body 'its not going according to James plan' she thought.
