"Hey..no..I can walk..and..we're in public"she said last part whispering
He rolled his eyes at her protest, his patience wearing thin.
"I don't care if we're in public,"he said, his voice brusque "I care about you being in pain. Now stop being so stubborn and let me carry you."
"Hayden.. I said no"she said sternly
He clenched his jaw, frustration and anger building within him.'She's being so damn stubborn, refusing to let me help her, even though I could see how much pain she were in.'He thought
"Why are you being so difficult?Just let me carry you, damn it."
"We just reached it.."she says, he scowled at her words, realizing that they were still quite a distance away from the car. She were going to end up limping the rest of the way if he let her keep walking.
"You're not walking anymore,"he said firmly, ignoring her protest as he swooped down, picking her up easily and cradling her in his arms.
"Hayden.."she whisper screams, but he ignored her protest, carrying her firmly in his arms as he continued towards the car.
"Stop arguing,"he said gruffly "You're injured and being stubborn. I'm carrying you to the car, end of discussion."
"Hayden drop me..everyone is looking at us"
He tightened his grip on her,not caring in the slightest if everyone was looking at them.
Evelyn were hurting and refusing to let him help her, and he wasn't going to just stand by and watch her suffer.
"I don't care if everyone is looking at us," he said, his voice gruff"You're too stubborn for your own good, and I'm not letting you walk any further on that injured foot."
"Hayden you never listen to me.."she says pouting, he rolled his eyes at her pouting, finding it almost adorable even as he struggled to maintain his annoyance.
'You were incredibly frustrating, but damn if you weren't also adorable when you pouted like that.'he thought
"And you never listen to me,"he retorted, his grip on her unwavering"You're too stubborn for your own good, sweetheart. Why can't you just let me take care of you for once?"
She didn't said anything,He continued walking towards the car, carrying her easily in his arms.
"You can pout all you want, sweetheart, But you're not getting out of my grip until we reach the car."
"I hate you" she murmured, He huffed a small laugh at her muttered words, unable to hold back a smirk.
"No, you don't," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
"I mean it" she says.
He chuckled, finding it almost endearing the way she insisted on hating him.
"No, you don't," he repeated, my smirk widening "You can say it all you want, but I know you don't really mean it. You're just frustrated with me, that's all."
"Yeah.. you can say that too.. you're most frustrating"
'You are feisty and stubborn, and it only made me want you more.' he thought
"Oh, I'm the most frustrating, am I?" He said, his smirk turning cocky "Funny, I could say the same about you, sweetheart."
"Heyy" she turned her head towards him, with wide eyes.
He smirked at her reaction, finding her pouting and protesting incredibly adorable.
"What?" *I asked, my voice feigning innocence* "I'm just stating the truth."
He smirked at her reaction, finding her pouting and protesting incredibly adorable.
"What?" He asked, his voice feigning innocence "I'm just stating the truth."
"You're really bad" he chuckled at her comment, enjoying the little game. He thought to himself that, She is so easy to rile up, and he loved it.
"Oh, I'm bad, am I?" He repeated, his voice dripping with sarcasm "And I suppose you're just an angel then, hm?"
|Am I not?" She says looking at him.
He raised an eyebrow, looking down at her in his arms. Her innocent expression and wide eyes almost made him believe that she is an angel...
"You, an angel?" He mused, his voice laced with teasing "I don't know about that. Angels aren't usually so stubborn and feisty, are they?"
"Drop me right now I don't wanna ne with you"
Hayden stopped walking abruptly, his arms still holding her firmly against him. Her demand hung between them, and for a moment, he was tempted to drop her just to teach her a lesson.
"Are you really sure you want that, sweetheart?" His voice low and dangerous* "You want me to drop you right here, right now?"
"Yes" she said looking straight at him.
He looked at her for a moment, studying her expression. Her defiant look challenged him, daring him to drop her. But he knew it would only hurt her more than anything else, and he don't want it.
"No," he said finally, his voice firm. "I'm not dropping you, sweetheart. You're stuck with me until we reach the car."
"As if anything happen according to me.. " she murmured
He smirked at her words, knowing all too well how stubborn she can be. It was true that more often than not, things didn't go according to her desires, maybe mostly it didn't, but he knew how to handle her.
"You're right, sweetheart," he said, his voice dripping with mockery "Nothing ever goes according to your plans, does it?"
He chuckled at her silence, knowing that he had hit a nerve. She muttered something angrily not audible.
"No, you didn't say anything," he taunted, his voice carrying a hint of teasing "You just muttered under your breath like a petulant child, that's all."
"Then do one favor... Sit away from me in the car.." she shouted in his ear.
Hayden winced slightly at her loud shout in his ear, and for a moment, he was tempted to do as she said just to shut her up. But then he smirked, the thought of frustrating her even more too tempting to pass up.
"Oh, I can do you one better, sweetheart, How about I sit in the backseat, right next to you?"
"I'll still sit away from you there is plenty of space in back " she says shrugging.
"Oh really?" He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm "You think you can stay away from me in the backseat, hm? Well, we'll just see about that, sweetheart."
"You won't do anything in the presence of driver.." she says proudly.
He laughed at her confidence, finding her innocent assumptions adorable.
"Is that what you think? You think I won't do anything with the driver in the car? Oh sweetheart, you have no idea what I'm capable of."
"What can you do with drivers presence"
Hayden chuckled darkly, his eyes glinting with a dangerous gleam as he leaned closer to her.
"Sweetheart, there are so many things I could do with the driver here," he whispered "I could make you shiver with just a touch, make you moan with just a kiss, make you beg with just a whisper... all while the driver is completely clueless."
He noticed the way she gulped, the slight movement of her throat betraying her nervousness. He smirked, leaning even closer, his lips brushing against her ear as he spoke.*
"What's the matter, sweetheart?"He whispered, his voice dripping with taunting "You're not scared, are you?"
"Wh..Why..would..I..I be sc..Scared"
"Are you sure about that? You seem a little... flustered," his voice low and sultry "Is it the thought of me in the backseat with you, all alone, no one to stop me from doing anything I want..."
"Driver.. sir will drive today you can go with other body guards.."when they reached near a car and driver was opening the door for them she told him then smirked at him.
Hayden looked at her, an amused and frustrated expression on his face. She were really trying to avoid being near him, using every trick in the book.
"And why would you want to do that, sweetheart?"
"So I can be away from you mister..now you drive and drop me in that passenger seat"
Hayden smirked as he saw her eyes widen, seeing the realization settle in her mind. He leaned closer, his voice low and seductive.
"Oh, didn't I mention it, sweetheart? You're not sitting in the passenger seat. You're sitting on my lap the entire ride."
"You won't do it"
"Oh, sweetheart, you really think I won't do it? You have no idea what I'm capable of, darling. I'll make you do exactly as I say."
"Hayden the entire car is empty I can sit anywhere I don't need to sit.. sit.. on"
He chuckled at her nervous stutter, finding it adorable the way she stumbled over her words.
"Oh, but sweetheart, I want you on my lap," his voice low and seductive"I want to feel you squirm and shiver as I drive, right there on my lap."
"Hayden"
He chuckled again, enjoying the way she said his name. It was like music to his ears, especially when she tried to sound authoritative but failed.
"Yes, sweetheart?" His voice dripping with mock-innocence"You seem to be at a loss for words."
