"Arwen..." his voice squeaked emotionally.
Zion felt his heart skip a beat when he saw the girl lying on the cold floor. Her clothes were covered in dust and blood, her face bruised. In an instant, he ran to Arwen's body.
"Who dared...?" Zion couldn't finish his sentence.
Inside his head, something he had longed for was rumbling.
'Alpha! Control yourself! Your emotions are exploding.'
The heavy, thunderous voice echoed in his mind.
Zion was silent for a moment. "Kael..."
"Yes, I'm back. And I can feel what you're feeling. This girl, she's our Mate."
Zion's anger peaked, his muscles tensed. He almost lost control, letting his wolf claws appear. His breathing quickened, his pupils began to glow golden.
