“Zion—!” Arwen’s voice caught in her throat as the light from her necklace shattered into silver and blue radiance that wrapped around her body. Zion held her tightly, but her skin burned against his touch—like grasping living moonlight. “Arwen! Look at me!” he shouted, trying to cut through the blinding light. Arwen’s eyes reflected two hues now—one silver, one blue. They glowed softly, yet carried immense power. “Zion…” her voice echoed, soft but layered—two tones merging into one. “I hear them—two voices, two powers.” Zion gripped her shoulders firmly. “Focus on me.
