5. waist cramps

Chapter 5 “Is there something you want to watch?” Jake asked. We were now sitting on the long sofa facing the television. Jake was to my left with the remote control, and Kevin was to my right. “Nothing really,” I said with little interest. I was more concerned with finding a comfortable spot. Kevin noticed my struggle. “Is it your leg again?” I shook my head. “Not cramps. I think I need to lie down, but I don't want to sleep yet,” I said, shifting in my seat. “I agree with that. You need to digest your food properly before going to sleep.” Jake had that professional look on his face before he added, “How about you rest your head here?” “Where?” I asked. He was pointing at his thighs, and honestly speaking, I’d considered it as well. I just didn't think he'd actually ask. “And your legs can rest here while I give them a massage. Good thing I brought the oil,” Kevin added, raising my feet off the ground. Both gave me no time to disagree. “Thank you.” I smiled softly and propped my head with my palm over my stepdad’s lap. The memories of what I did kept resurfacing in my mind, and I could only force myself to watch the telenovela playing on the screen. While Kevin massaged the tension in my feet with his experienced hands, Jake gave my scalp the softest tingling feeling on occasion. My feet occasionally bumped Kevin's, but it was nothing severe. And Jake? Everything he did brought me comfort. It became inevitable that I'd close my eyes to properly appreciate how good they were making me feel. When I opened my eyes, it was midnight. It had to be. And I was all alone in bed. The chill of the night, despite the duvet covering my body, was what jerked me out of the bed. That and the extreme parched feeling in my throat. I navigated the room blindly until I found the switch and flipped it. Then I wrapped the cover-up around my chest and tightened it before stepping out. The lights were dimly lit, and I found my way to the kitchen where I bent over to reach my favorite mug to make myself some coffee. I was right about to stand straight when I felt a presence behind me. Before I could straighten up, he'd grabbed me by my waist and shoved his morning wood between my thighs. “Good morning, love,” he said. Kevin. “There's someone in the house with us,” I said in a hushed whisper as I straightened up. The feeling of something so thick and warm between my thighs woke me up faster than any glass of coffee would. “Would you let me if there was no one in the house with us?” he asked as his fingers found the slack of my skirt and drew it down. I sucked an excited breath in. “We can't be doing this. I…” “I just wanted to say good morning. I was in the living room when I heard some noise,” he said as he stepped away from behind me and tucked his c**k back into his pants. I turned around, and my eyes immediately found his lower torso. The outline was as obvious as day, despite it just being a few minutes past six. “Good morning.” I blushed and grabbed a bottle from the fridge. “You should have some fruits with that,” he said as he searched the bottom part of the refrigerator. There was a variety of fruits which he'd brought the day before, but not one slice of pineapple. My eyes almost watered as I caught his gaze. He'd remembered the cause of my nausea from the restaurant. He smiled back like he could read my mind, and it took me some self-restraint not to kiss him. “Thank you.” He cut up some fruits and made a fruit water bottle for me. “Thanks.” I took it from him. “So, did you sleep well?” He cornered me against the fridge as his hands roamed my waist under my clothes. “Hmm.” I nodded. His hands wrapped behind me and grabbed my supple ass. “No cramps?” he continued. “No.” My "no" sounded more like a moan, and right in that moment, the door of the kitchen opened to reveal my stepdad. “There you are,” he said. His smile faltered as he looked in the direction where Kevin's hands rested. Kevin didn't make a move to disengage, so I had to do it. “He was just helping me massage the spot. I had some cramps from sleeping on my back,” I lied smoothly. But he still had a quizzical look on his face. Kevin smirked with a challenging look on his own, and when I thought Jake would ask more questions and make this awkward, he finally spoke. “Really?” He stepped fully into the kitchen, shirtless, with sweat-soaked shorts that clung tightly to his thighs. “You should join my morning workouts to strengthen your muscles.” I let out a shaky breath of relief. I didn't think he'd believe that. “Okay,” I nodded. Although I was lazy, it would be worse if I rejected his offer. Daddy could be persistent when he wanted. “What would you have for breakfast?” he asked, stopping in front of me. Suddenly, I couldn't inhale without breathing in the scent of his sweat. Might I talk about how hot and sultry he looked? Sweat trickled down his chin to meet the droplets on his chest, and despite his profession as a medical doctor, he was ripped and looked very much like an actor. “Lyra?” He called again to return me to the present. “Uhn?” I blinked. “What do you want for breakfast?” You, I wanted to say, but aside from being inappropriate, Kevin would force himself on the menu, and I wasn't sure I could handle them both. That's if he even wants you, a little voice scolded in my head. I looked my stepdad up and down once more. It was true; there was no way I was his type. Instead, I said, “Nothing. I'm not hungry yet.” My stomach chose that moment to grumble. “How about this?” Kevin stepped from behind me. “I'll make you a bowl of fruit salad while I go to prepping the ingredients to cook. You'll have decided what you want before you're done with the fruits.” “That's a nice plan. Let's make you something, since you didn't eat dinner yesterday,” Jake chimed in. I stared at them both, surprised that they finally agreed on something. “Okay.” I smiled and returned to the living room where I started getting pampered again. Elliot wouldn't be back for another four days.
