Twenty-seven
Asher set down Roxy and Aaron and walked toward me; but not too close. He kept his distance, just in case I tried anything. Looking into his eyes almost completely made me lose focus. Why was I here again? Oh! Right. "I-I wanted to apologize for," I sighed, "for accusing you of-" he cut me off and pointed toward the group of kids standing there, confused. Asher walked over to them and led them to the door. "Just give me and Madison a little time to talk okay?" They nodded and ran off into the hallway. Asher closed the door and walked past me, leaning against his desk with his head tilted to the side, looking oh, so sexy. He lifted his hand up and muttered, "continue." I let out a deep breath and started again, "I wanted to apologize for accusing you of murdering my brother."
