I watched as he easily gave orders to the wolves and some of my shifters. It's hard for me to look away. We had both agreed on taking it slow, especially since I marked him impulsively. When all of his emotions drained into me I felt like my world had fallen apart. I had an expectation of what it would be like to find my desire and this hadn't been it.
"This is a thoroughly thought out plan," he complimented as he went over the maps of Reyna Peak.
"That's Ray for you. Always one step ahead of the world," he smiled. "I am dying,"
"What?" he asked looking over at me worriedly.
"My nerves are a wreck. Waiting is one of my least favorite things to do," he smirked at me before taking a seat across the table from me. He looks a little amused.
