Bam Bam Bam The banging on the door was ceaseless. McEwan finally raised himself from his bed and grabbed his dressing gown. Rising up from sleep, he staggered to the front door, assailed by another urgent battery. Bam Bam Bam “Awright. Give me a minute,” McEwan croaked, finally recalling how to speak. The banging stopped. McEwan began to fumble with the latch, unlocking it. He took off the security chain and turned the key in the main lock. He opened the door, realising he foolishly hadn"t even checked to see who was on the other side. “About time,” said Kether, barging past McEwan, smelling like he had just come from the Pit of Hell.
