She showed up at the Church of the Holy Spirit mid-afternoon. Hector had been happy to let her take a day off, if a little surprised as Kat had worked every day since she’d started. She’d had to take two busses to get here. It was a comforting sight, the old building amongst the new, something that felt clean but not antiseptic. Kat opened the main door and walked in.
