The church was open but completely empty. Another night had passed and still no word from Clint, Fingers or Jack. It might seem over-familiar or presumptuous to just walk through, so Kat walked round to the manse’s front door. Not having a phone was starting to feel damned inconvenient as it also made contacting Evelyn impossible without a long journey and a prayer that she’d be in.
