It was hard to believe how quickly Easter came around. Having holidays was always welcome, but inevitably there was homework too. We had to research and write a report on the styles of architecture in a capital city, tracking it from the earliest existing examples to the most modern. I chose London. It seemed like a good challenge – was there anything Roman left standing? Then again, perhaps it was easy, such a large number of eras of building; Georgian arcades, Wren"s cathedral, the Parliament.
