As soon as I beg for the heart of Chang'e to show me what it wants, the entire scene goes white. A feminine voice says, "I will only grant you one wish, little wolf," and then the scenery changes.
The street gets replaced by grass, and the buildings turn to trees. I am in a forest clearing. The skies are dark, but the moon is full. It's illuminating the moon goddess standing before me.
Her long black hair is caught in various golden ornaments to keep it up and away from her face. Her dress is blue with golden details, and there is red makeup around her otherwise dark eyes.
I get nervous seeing her and standing before a living, breathing goddess. A surge of panic hits me, and I bow my head, only for the moon goddess to laugh in amusement.
