Eleven years later
After we took down Victoria, a lot of things happened at once. The vampires left the city. And even though there have been some rogue vampire attacks, it's been nothing out of the ordinary.
It's strange, but it seems the vampires are lying low. We haven't even been visited by Avery's older vampire brother. Which is... odd, but it's not like we are complaining.
Avery told me his brother is named Damien, and according to Avery, he hates werewolves. That is why Avery finds it weird he hasn't attacked us yet. But perhaps he is choosing peace?
Anyway... the second thing that happened was that Avery announced that our city could return to living in peace, and then he told everyone that I was pregnant with the future alpha.
