Tears streamed down Beth's face as she shook her head frantically.
"I didn't! I just couldn't bear the thought of my baby being born without a father. I did it because I love you. What did I do wrong?! I love you, but I never wanted to hurt you! What about her? She's the one who put you in danger. So what if I cursed her a few times?!"
Beth broke down in tears, her face streaked with them.
"Is that so?" William sneered.
He pulled out his phone and played the video of the two of them together that night.
"Then tell me! Who else could have recorded this video?!"
Beth's eyes widened when she saw the footage.
It took her several seconds to process what she was seeing.
"You think I recorded it?"
