"My head,"she whimpers weekly. She closes her eyes, and that's the last that she says when her body deflates. I almost start to panic but I can still her blood flowing and her heartbeat.
Asher follows me behind me without saying a word. And now I have to make sure that Nina and my sister lay for what they have done.
I take her to the pack hospital immediately and let the doctors and nurses do their job. I don't want to difficult so I just watch painfully as they put my mate on the stretcher and whisk her away.
