"Yeah, like the weather,"I type without paying attention to her.
It's been hours since Beck disappeared and I'm outside with Effie helping her with 'stuff'. I actually forgot what she asked me to help her with because I'm so engrossed in my conversation with Summer. I haven't yet told her the truth, but I have promised her that I will let her see me soon .
“Can you please provide me with your home address?” I ask shyly
"And what do you need the address for?,"Effie asks.
I answer as I continue typing, "I want Summer to visit me. She is the only friend I have ,"
"Oh, I thought I was your friend too "Effie feigns hurt as she clutches her chest tight.
I sigh and giggle at her
