I’m sitting in my office trying to sort through the paperwork. It’s been three days since Brandi opened up to me, as I’ve been doing everything I can to ensure she knows how much I love her. One of those things is visiting her office every day, well that’s more for my benefit than hers. I smile. Just thinking of her makes me so happy. I can’t wait to get this day over. I review the last document, sign in, drop it on the pile, and press the intercom.
“Jill, I’m finished.”
" Okay, I’ll come to get them.”I stand up and grab my jacket as she walks through the door.
“In a rush?”
“Yeah, I have plans.”
“On the 17th floor?”She asks with a knowing smirk. I had been going up there every chance I get, but after yesterday Brandi banned me from coming until the day was over.
