Giovanni's POV
I pull into the driveway thirty minutes later, hop out of my car and make my way inside. The sound of the television playing catches me off guard. I walk towards the den and hear the laugh track playing for a show. I enter the room and see her sitting, eyes trained on the television smiling. My heart skips a beat as she starts laughing. How is she capable of going through so much, yet she still can smile like that? As if everything in her world is perfect.
"Mr.C?" Her voice pulls me back. I smile and make my way over to the couch.
