After what had happened at the table, I could not think anything positive at all. I decided that I'm going to change the topic because thinking about the interaction with Patricia and just how she really did not look like she was fond of me was driving me absolutely insane and I was just done doing it.
“What happened with… ummm?” I start But then I immediately realized that I forgot the name that she had given to me. I totally forgot who the guy was that was doing me such great favours that I had not even bothered to return the right way.
“The guy that was doing my shifts for me”, I ask her and she just starts laughing.
