Carol could see this little argument was likely to end up in a brawl and wished Randy would come back and get her out of it before it happened. She didn't understand the entire thing anyway, except that what Peter was saying seemed to make more sense than Roger's argument. Her eyes searched around the room for Randy and she inadvertently spotted Bob following Susan through the arched door at the far end.
