Kelly has been staring at me for the past few minutes after I just told her about what’s going on between me and the new CEO of our company. Don’t get me wrong. Nothing’s really going on between the two of us, but for the past couple of days, it has been extremely weird whenever he’s around.
Since last Monday, he had been adamant about eating together and every day he would always bug me about driving me home and even fetching me on the way to work. And every single time he tried, I would always turn him down.
I don’t know why, but even though I already told him to stop whatever he’s doing, he’s just continuing to put in a little more effort every damn time.
