Cameron told me you’ll be his date for tomorrow’s event.
I’ve been staring at his message for the past five minutes now. I couldn’t think of the words to reply. I knew it was just simply telling me that he already knows I’ll be Cameron’s date for the fundraising event but we haven’t talked about anything aside from work-related stuff.
“So what do you think about this dress?” Kelly’s cheerful voice broke my trance.
I had to focus on the red dress she’s holding up. My eyes immediately widened when I realized how revealing the dress was. I would look like someone who’s wearing a few inches of fabric.
Kelly insisted on buying me a dress for the event because she knows I wouldn’t bother dressing up and would just throw in any presentable dress I already have in my dresser
