I couldn't help but smile when I heard his voice. “Is that really you? What are you doing here?” “Looking for you and your mother, of course,” said Dad. “Speaking of your mother, where is she? Is she safe?” “She is,” I said. “She's in that other Pokacu ship, the one crashed into the ocean floor.” “The other Pokacu ship?” Dad repeated. “What are you talking about?” “It's a long story,” I said. “Can you bring me aboard the Spinner so I can tell you about what happened? I can't really move on my own here.” “Okay, okay,” said Dad. “I'll see if I can get Mimic to use the ship's tractor beam to pull you aboard.
