Ristéard gently lifted Ricki into his arms and turned back toward the door leading to his bedroom. He had ordered the guard to take her to his living quarters. He had already planned to keep her there, but in the bedroom next to his before he ever kidnapped her. That was why the room had been prepared already for her arrival.
